Finally! A useful, honest, and valuable look into the Beauty Industry!

I am a licensed Aesthetician with over 16 years of experience and I have to say this is by far the best book I have ever read about the beauty industry. The Beauty Industry Survival Guide is funny, honest, and will prepare you for the ups and downs of the biz. It should be required reading in every Cosmetology/Esthetics school! If you are a interested in a career in the salon/spa industry then buy this book immediately- BEFORE you start school! If you are a seasoned professional like me, you will still learn some valuable information. I have already purchased two copies and will probably buy more to share with employees and co-workers. Thank you Tina Alberino for writing such a great book! :)

This is my 21st year as a licensed cosmetologist. This book was needed before I recieved my professional license. There is so much important information packed into this handbook I cannot say how important it is for anyone that is in the process of joining or staying in this profession. Thank you, Tina Alberino. I hope to meet you one day to say how much you have helped me make the decision to keep going.

Absolutely a must have if you are in the beauty industry! Tina Alberino is so insightful and I love how she writes, easy read with no filler, she tells it to you straight. From rental vs commission to marketing and business building....and then everything you had to learn the hard way and still don't understand; she truly lays it down in print. I am so glad I purchased this book and highly recommend you do as well.
