About the Author
Raymond J. Bishop, S.J. (January 15, 1906 February 1978) was a Roman Catholic priest. One of the several priests involved in the case of exorcizing a boy in St. Louis, Missouri, who was said to be possessed after using a Ouija board. The case inspired author William Peter Blatty to write a novel about exorcism, titled The Exorcist and then a movie based on a diary of these events. In 1949, Father Bishop assembled these accounts in form of a diary from 14 priests that were eye witnesses to the exorcism which is presented here in this book. This book is for research and teachings on the subject of possession. This diary is unedited and reveals the facts of the actual case. Christopher Saint Booth is a an author, producer and director of films and documentaries for Syfy, Chiller, NBC Universal, Redbox, Spooked TV Productions, At&t, Vimeo, Apple iTunes, Netflix, Roku and more worldwide. He also is the CEO of Spooked Television. Films include Dead Still (Syfy), Death Tunnel (Sony Pictures), The Possessed, Spooked, Children Of The Grave (Syfy Channel/NBC Universal), The Exorcist File-Haunted Boy (Redbox), Children Of The Grave 2, Soul Catcher and DarkPlace. Christopher and his brother Philip is known as the Booth Brothers who produce paranormal documentaries and films released worldwide.
