Good book great price

After you get past the archaic language,and the lack of maps this is a good comprehensive look at an underrated era that did much to hasten the timing and increase the fury of the famous French Revolution. The political landscape is confusing but the author draws the personalities with a broad brush that makes the reader get familiar with the variety of characters. The prose is a bit difficult at first but if you can stay with it and get used to the sentence structure,you will be rewarded with a informative,balanced and very interesting historical time.And after all, you can't beat the price!!!!!
